Founded by volunteers, for volunteers. Our mission is to ensure Virginia's fire departments and rescue squads have the resources they need to protect our communities, while supporting their families during emergencies and unforeseen tragedies.
First In Foundation was born from firsthand experience with the challenges facing Virginia's volunteer fire companies and rescue squads. Our founders have witnessed departments struggling to afford essential equipment, unable to send members to critical training, and families left without support when tragedy strikes.
As a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, we bridge the gap between what departments need and what they can afford. Starting in the Charlottesville-Albemarle area, we're expanding our support throughout Virginia, one department at a time.
Every dollar donated goes directly to supporting the brave men and women who answer the call when our communities need them most. Because when heroes never hesitate, neither should we.

First In Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization in the Commonwealth of Virginia. All donations are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law.
We believe in complete transparency with our donors. Annual reports, financial statements, and impact summaries are available upon request. To ensure operational sustainability, a minimal administrative fee not exceeding 5% of donations received is retained to cover essential operational costs. The remaining funds go directly to supporting Virginia's first responders and their families, and every dollar is tracked and reported to ensure maximum impact.
